Therapy for person with Substance Use Disorder

Individual & Group Therapy

At Gateway to Prevention and Recovery, our licensed therapists will familiarize themselves with you, your characteristics, and your sphere of influence on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group setting. During these sessions, we will work towards building a strong relationship that fosters trust and understanding in which we can relate to one another. Together we will build a plan to achieve these objectives: establish goals, recognize the difference between healthy and unhealthy behavior, develop basic life skills, develop positive social skills, rebuild family bonds, and learn how to be accountable for your actions.

We will ask that you be completely honest during this time and to notify your therapist if you have a relapse, or a near relapse so we can help identify triggers and social settings that influence this behavior.
