Children and Youth Services

Gateway’s Adolescent Clinical Team offers counseling to youth and adolescents in both agency and school-based settings. Because Gateway contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, these young people and their families are served free of charge.

There are many reasons our clients come to therapy; therefore, our services are tailored to the needs of each individual. Some reasons individuals may seek therapy are:

  • Disruptions in family functioning
  • Anxiety, depression, and other emotional or behavioral symptoms
  • Family adjustments like adoption, fostering, reunification, or blending families
  • Relational concerns
  • Behavioral, school, or social disruptions
  • Substance use or exposure
