Gateway’s Behavioral Health Team provides outpatient treatment for people with substance use and low-severity mental health disorders. Our team is here to support you and your loved ones. All of our servics are confidential, client-centered, and convenient.

Gateway has best-practice, out-patient treatment services in three locations - Shawnee, Seminole, and Chandler. We offer a wide variety of treatment services and recovery programs to help promote rehabilitation in a positive and nurturing atmosphere in both individual and group settings.

  • We believe that recovery from addiction is possible as individuals have desire and access to appropriate treatment interventions and connect to opportunities that support and sustain their well-being.
  • Our treatment staff are trauma informed, culturally sensitive, licensed professionals who use evidence-based practices when working with patients.
  • We serve children, adolescents, and adults on either a free or sliding scale and will never refuse services for an inability to pay.

What is an assessment?

An assessment is a 1.5 - 3 hour session during which a licensed professional will evaluate the extent of use, whether you are an adult or youth. Recommendations for treatment and counseling are then made based on the assessment.

What should I bring?

Please bring the following to your assessment:

  • Income verification
  • Insurance verification
  • Photo ID
How is payment determined?

Payment for services is determined by financial eligibility. Gateway receives funding from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services to assist eligible patients. Multiple pay sources are available such as:

  • Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • Sooner Care
  • Private pay
  • Commercial insurance reimbursement
  • Sliding fee scale

Please do not allow your lack of finances to prohibit you from accessing these services.

Do you offer inpatient treatment?

No, we only offer outpatient clinics at this time. However, we are qualified to screen in regards to the Oklahoma Determination of ASAM Service Level (ODASL) for applications to state-funded inpatient treatment.

How long does treatment take?

All treatment services are individualized to the patient's needs and referral service.
